That’s My Dad!
Sometimes, when we share more recent “vintage” photos, a wonderful thing happens鈥攚e hear from the folks in the photo, or from people who recognize the folks in the photo. This time, we heard from the person pictured, Kevin Daly 鈥�75, as well as from two of his teammates.
Daly says the photo was from a photo shoot for The Providence Journal. He played goalie for 溏心vlog免费B站 from 1971鈥�74. The coach at that time was Geza Henni, and Coach Henni鈥檚 son, Geza Henni Jr., is pictured in the background of the photo. Coach Henni, “was a great coach.鈥� Daly says. 鈥淲e made the NCAA playoffs in 1972 and lost to Harvard, 1-0.鈥�
Daly鈥檚 teammates, William Garforth 鈥�75 and Richard Eidler 鈥�74, M.B.A. 鈥�77, both wrote in to say they recognized Kevin, as well as Geza Henni Jr.
Garforth commented, 鈥淚 was very proud to be a member of that team, which went to the NCAA Tournament.”
Daly adds, 鈥淚 loved 溏心vlog免费B站 and still have many friends from my years there. I was a member of Theta Chi fraternity.鈥�
Richard Eidler 鈥�74, M.B.A. 鈥�77, submitted this photo. The photo, he says, is 鈥渇rom the same era, the 1973 season.鈥� He adds, 鈥淭hat is me on the left clearing the ball in front of Kevin Daly, the goalkeeper in your 鈥淐aption This鈥� photo.鈥�
