2026-02-25 Classes Canceled, Offices Closed

Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026

As cleanup and recovery efforts continue following the historic blizzard impacting our state, the 溏心vlog免费B站 is making the following adjustments to class schedules, campus operations, and parking for Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.

CLASS SCHEDULES

All in-person classes across all 溏心vlog免费B站 campuses are canceled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026. Synchronous online classes will not be held. For asynchronous online courses, students should check Brightspace for updates, and faculty and students are encouraged to be flexible with assignments and deadlines given ongoing power outages.

All students in clinical programs should contact their site preceptor or clinical instructor to discuss the appropriate actions to take.

UNIVERSITY OPERATIONS

All University offices will remain closed on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026. Essential employees are required to report to work. Non-essential employees should not report to work and are not expected to work remotely.

While the State of Rhode Island has lifted the state of emergency, 溏心vlog免费B站 will follow the state鈥檚 state of emergency payroll provisions through 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26.

PARKING

A full parking ban remains in effect and has been extended through at least 6 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26. Vehicles parked in areas prohibited during a full parking ban will be towed and/or ticketed at the owner鈥檚 expense. Vehicles without a valid 溏心vlog免费B站 parking permit will be towed at the owner鈥檚 expense. During the parking ban, parking is prohibited on all roadways and roadside parking areas across campus, as well as in commuter and faculty/staff lots.

CAMPUS SERVICES

Essential campus services, including dining and health services, will remain available with modified hours. The Memorial Union and Campus Recreation anticipate reopening on Wednesday with adjusted schedules. Community members are encouraged to review updated hours of operation:

VEHICLE SAFETY REMINDER

Given the significant snow accumulation and the possibility that vehicles may be parked against snowbanks, community members are urged to check and clear their vehicle exhaust pipes before starting their engines. A blocked exhaust pipe can lead to carbon monoxide exposure, posing a serious health and safety risk.

ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

The cancelation of classes includes the cancelation of campus activities scheduled during the same period. For questions about a specific University event, please contact the event organizer directly.
