In that time, Hall created the company\u2019s signature philanthropic programs addressing women\u2019s empowerment, developed the company\u2019s human rights work, advanced business models to reduce textile waste, led the company\u2019s transition to become a Certified B Corporation, and championed the company\u2019s shift to organic, recycled, and regenerative fibers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hall will speak at 7 p.m. at Edwards Hall on the Kingston Campus, as part of the University\u2019s fall Honors Colloquium, \u201cNot Business As Usual: Business for the Common Good.\u201d The talk will also be streamed live (video links are available the day of each event, at the link above).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has also served as a steadfast brand ambassador and thought leader on issues of \u201csustainable\u201d apparel and ethical business. Today, Hall serves as the social consciousness strategic advisor for Eileen Fisher Inc., as well as the sustainability strategic advisor for the Eileen Fisher Foundation. She also owns and operates a mission-driven independent bookstore, Hudson Valley Books for Humanity, in her hometown of Ossining, N.Y.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hall holds an MBA from Green Mountain College and has served as advisory board chair for Social Accountability International, as a development council member for Future Fit, and as a Good Housekeeping Sustainable Innovation Awards judge. She has also appeared in numerous publications and programs, including National Public Radio, The Atlantic, Business of Fashion, CBS-TV, and more. She has been recognized as a Power Women award honoree, a U.N. Women Champion of Change, and a Girl Scouts of Greater New York Woman of Distinction, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The 溏心vlog免费B站 Honors Colloquium is free and open to the public. Hosted by 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Honors Program, this is the University\u2019s premier lecture series and marks the centennial of the College of Business.
