The College ranked just ahead of Rutgers University and Florida Atlantic University, and just behind Pennsylvania State University.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur dynamic faculty members continue to make significant contributions to health care with their groundbreaking research that is supported by NIH and grant funders around the country,\u201d Dean Barbara Wolfe said. \u201cTheir work has the potential to make a beneficial impact on health care through the development of prevention and intervention strategies, as well as through understanding the long-term consequences of various conditions. Their projects provide valuable experiences for our students, enhancing their education with exposure to research solving real-world problems.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Funded projects headed up by 溏心vlog免费B站 College of Nursing faculty members include <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/nursing\/2020\/10\/19\/uri-college-of-nursing-study-aims-to-increase-intimate-sexual-violence-screening-on-college-campuses\/\">Associate Dean Kathy Hutchinson\u2019s funded study<\/a> examining Intimate partner violence and sexual violence on college campuses; <u>Professor Mary Sullivan\u2019s funded study<\/u> examining the developmental outcomes of premature infants across their lifespans; and Research <u>Professor Kimberly Arcoleo\u2019s study<\/u> evaluating a \u201cSchool-Based Asthma Therapy\u201d program to reduce disparities in care for childhood asthma.
