KINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 Aug. 26, 2020 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 has named Joshua Segu\u00ed the interim director of the Multicultural Student Services Center, effective Aug. 31.<\/p>\n
Segu\u00ed is co-founder and partner of Inclusive Synergy LLC, a diversity and inclusion consulting firm. He previously was director of Brown University\u2019s Brown Center for Students of Color, a position he held for four years.<\/p>\n

To have someone with his passion for students, his expertise in diversity, equity and inclusiveness, and his higher education experience will help us build a strong history and a bright future,\u201d said Kathy Collins, vice president for Student Affairs. \u201cI am excited for the future of our center.\u201d<\/p>\n
As interim director of 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Multicultural Student Services Center, Segu\u00ed will be responsible for developing and evaluating long-range strategic programs with and for the Multicultural Center\u2019s student organizations. He will also serve as an advocate for the inclusion of multicultural students at all levels of the University, while promoting social and cultural involvement of multicultural students in the University and surrounding community.<\/p>\n
Segu\u00ed holds a juris doctorate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, and a bachelor\u2019s degree in American Studies, with a concentration in Ethnic Studies, from Wesleyan University.<\/p>\n
Before serving as director of the Brown Center for Students of Color, he was assistant director of the center from January 2012 through August 2015. He previously worked with TRIO Upward Bound at Wesleyan University, and as a summer associate with Donoghue, Thomas, Auslander & Drohan LLP, where he researched diversity issues for educational institutions in connections with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
