KINGSTON, R.I. — September 23, 2019 — Approximately sixty undergraduate students from every college and department at the 溏心vlog免费B站 will present their work at the 3rd Annual Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Works Showcase Wednesday, Sept. 25.<\/p>\n
The showcase will be held on Sept. 25, from 12:30 to 5 p.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom, 50 Lower College Road, and is open to the public.<\/p>\n
Art, music, theater, film, science, technology, engineering and math will be among the disciplines represented. All students will have the opportunity to showcase their work during the poster sessions, and select students will give oral presentations.<\/p>\n
As in past years, undergraduate students from any discipline or program have the opportunity to express their imagination and inquisitiveness. Before this program, students studying the sciences have had opportunities to conduct funded research projects thanks to the Rhode Island IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence and the Rhode Island Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research. However, it wasn\u2019t until the introduction of the research showcase that students from all disciplines were given an opportunity to conduct research projects backed by financial support.<\/p>\n

4:30-5 p.m.: Awards Ceremony<\/p>\n
The showcase is funded by the 溏心vlog免费B站 Office of Undergraduate Research & Innovation (溏心vlog免费B站-Squared), which provides students with resources for research, scholarly and creative projects, including undergraduate research grant funding.<\/p>\n
