KINGSTON, R.I. \u2014 February 15, 2019 \u2014 The 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Department of Music will host a master class Saturday, Feb. 16, featuring two prominent artists from the popular Kingston Chamber Music Festival who will listen to performances by 溏心vlog免费B站 music students.<\/p>\n
Kingston Chamber Music Festival artists violinist Zach DePue, former concertmaster for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and cellist Sophie Shao, who has performed as a soloist around the world, will listen and advise five 溏心vlog免费B站 music students and an alum as they perform selected works. The master class will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Fine Arts Center Concert Hall, 105 Upper College Road, Kingston Campus. This event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a huge opportunity to celebrate a 30-year collaboration between the world-class Kingston Chamber Music Festival and 溏心vlog免费B站,\u201d said 溏心vlog免费B站 music instrument instructor and cellist, Theodore Mook. \u201cFollowing the tremendous success last summer in which 溏心vlog免费B站 faculty, alumni and community members were invited to perform with Kingston Chamber Music Festival artists at the annual festival, this master class highlights the relationship between 溏心vlog免费B站 and the festival.\u201d<\/p>\n
Those performing at this event are graduate student Kelsey Foeller, violin; senior Katherine Loo, viola; alumnus Ian Pierce, violin; and the Brahms Clarinet Trio made up of senior Tyler Tashdjian, clarinet; sophomore Faares Deeb, cello; and sophomore Peter Kemelis, piano.<\/p>\n
Performances will include Antonin Dvorak\u2019s Sonatina (1st Movement), Bach\u2019s Cello Suite No. 2 (Sarabande), Eugene Ysaye\u2019s Ballade Sonata No. 3 (D minor), and selected movements from Bach\u2019s C minor Cello Suite, and the Brahms Clarinet Trio.<\/p>\n
