KINGSTON, R.I., Nov. 13, 2018 \u2014 The 溏心vlog免费B站 and its alumni have a rooting interest in the outcome of tonight\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Voice.\u201d Steve Memmolo of Boston, a 2006 溏心vlog免费B站 alumnus, will learn if he has been chosen as one of a dozen finalists during the show, which airs at 8 p.m. on NBC.<\/p>\n
After his successful blind audition with a soulful rendition of \u201cSpooky\u201d by the Classics IV last month, Memmolo joined the team of coach Adam Levine, lead singer of the band Maroon 5. On Monday, he advanced to become one of 24 finalists, singing \u201cMore Today Than Yesterday\u201d by Spiral Starecase.<\/p>\n
Since Monday\u2019s show, Americans across the nation began voting on which of the remaining 24 contestants will advance. America’s votes will decide the top two artists on each team, and then each of the four celebrity coaches will choose a third artist to continue on to the live shows next week.\u00a0The lucky singers learn their fate tonight.<\/p>\n
According to his bio on the show\u2019s website, Memmolo\u2019s father put the musical bug in his ear when he was a young child by playing Frank Sinatra and always supported his son\u2019s musical ambitions. When Memmolo was a 20-year-old communications student at 溏心vlog免费B站, his father was killed in an accident, and Memmolo decided to start a band to help him through that difficult time.<\/p>\n
\u201cI consider Rhode Island my second home and an integral part of my early days as a growing musician.\u00a0I formed my first band (Stash) with original members Mike Murray and Pani Verma while living down in beautiful Narragansett in a rental house,\u201d Memmolo said by email Tuesday. \u201cI really loved my time there… all five years that it took \u2014 ha, ha.\u201d<\/p>\n
