Mellon Foundation, and will focus on programming in such\u00a0fields as history, language, art, literature and philosophy. Along with 溏心vlog免费B站, the founding institutions are Amherst College, Colby College, Dartmouth College, Northeastern University, Tufts University, the University of Connecticut, the University of New Hampshire, the University of Vermont, Wellesley College and Wheaton College.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe consortium and the Mellon grant offer new possibilities and collaborations that we haven\u2019t even imagined,\u201d said Annu Palakunnathu Matthew, director of 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Center for the Humanities. \u201cCollectively our voices are stronger to elevate our disciplines\u2019 dialogue and their impact in society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Northeast is a worldwide center for research in the humanities and this consortium will allow us to do something genuinely new \u2014 to embark on\u00a0initiatives that no single institution could accomplish on their own,\u201d said Michael Lynch, director of UConn\u2019s Humanities Institute (UCHI). &#8220;UCHI is tremendously proud\u00a0to be a part of this important endeavor.\u201d Lynch will serve as the consortium\u2019s first executive director.<\/p>\n<p>The Mellon Foundation funding will support initial\u00a0programing and assist in the development of administrative practices as well as future projects.
