KINGSTON, R.I, May 4, 2017\u2014 The history department in the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s College of Arts and Sciences held an awards ceremony Sunday, April 30, to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the discipline.<\/p>\n

Alexandra Goldsmith shakes hands with Claiborne \u201cClay\u201d Pell, grandson of the late senator Claiborne Pell, upon receiving the Pell Medal for Outstanding Achievement in United States History.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The recipient of this year\u2019s Pell Medal for Outstanding Achievement in United States History by a senior history major is Alexandra Goldsmith of Plainview, N.Y.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to Goldsmith, other award winners are:<\/p>\n

Kristina Canton of Warwick<\/strong>: The University Academic Excellence Award for history.<\/p>\n

Robert Walsh of Warwick<\/strong>: The University Academic Excellence Award for history and Phi Alpha Theta initiate.<\/p>\n

Bridget Hall of North Smithfield<\/strong>: The Margaret Thomas Phi Alpha Theta Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Junior History Major and Phi Alpha Theta initiate.<\/p>\n
