Literally."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 May 1, 2017 \u2013 A self-described former shy girl, Cassie \u201cCeCe\u201d Jacob can trace her transformation to extrovert to a single moment.<\/p>\n<p>It was four years ago. Then a 溏心vlog免费B站 freshman, Jacob stopped to look at a chalk outline of a person on the asphalt outside of Hope Commons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was an ad to apply to be a tour guide. Tour guiding is where my heart is. It gave me the courage and the confidence to be who I am now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow\u201d is days shy of graduating with a bachelor\u2019s degree in Chinese and accounting. \u201cNow\u201d is anticipating a paid internship, Jacob\u2019s second, with international accounting firm PWC, which she\u2019ll begin in June. Jacob was so successful in her first internship, campus recruitment for PWC, that she was invited to apply again. Most such internships culminate in a job offer.<\/p>\n<p>As a campus tour guide, Jacob made a point of telling prospective students that opportunities abound at 溏心vlog免费B站.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed oembed-youtube-com\" style=\"\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d4DPYp-t44E\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cassie J. Jacob - 2017 Graduating Senior\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d4DPYp-t44E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI always say at the end of tours and during orientation that you can be who you want to be here. It\u2019s a clean slate. Don\u2019t hold yourself back. Go for anything that you\u2019re interested in,\u201d the <strong>Suffern, N.Y.<\/strong> native said. \u201cI\u2019ve surprised myself over these four years in how I\u2019ve grown and acquired the ability, courage and competence to do so.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For this honors student, not holding back has meant taking three opportunities to study abroad (China, Nepal and the Dominican Republic), managing the campus radio station, being hospitality coordinator of the Student Entertainment Committee, holding a leadership role in new student orientations, and joining the National Association of Black Accountants, where, in her sophomore year, she and fellow 溏心vlog免费B站 students took second in a business plan competition that led to her initial contact with PWC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy favorite thing about 溏心vlog免费B站 is that you can have a very diverse education. These experiences have diversified the way I think and act. It\u2019s all about opportunity,\u201d Jacob says. \u201cThat\u2019s what took me from the person I was to the person I am now.<\/p>\n<p>Your experience here can be as special and unique as you want it to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As May 21, commencement day, nears, Jacob feels excitement and trepidation, which tell her she is exactly on track.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt reminds me not to be stagnant. There\u2019s always a start and an end to things. I don\u2019t want to be comfortable.
