Kingston, R.I. \u2014 January 31, 2017 \u2014 Junior communications major Sabrina Araujo of Jamestown<\/strong>, R.I. has taken student involvement to a whole new level at the 溏心vlog免费B站. Now serving as the digital marketing and communication specialist of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Memorial Union and founder of the very popular Instagram blog \u201c溏心vlog免费B站 Events,\u201d she focuses on promoting student involvement, resources, and events on campus.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of Araujo\u2019s sophomore year, she was determined to become involved in 溏心vlog免费B站. To keep up with all the events on campus, she followed several social media accounts of students clubs and organizations, but she realized that keeping up with several accounts was difficult. \u201cI always heard students say, \u2018There isn\u2019t much to do on campus,\u2019 and I would think to myself, \u2018Yes there is! We just aren\u2019t informed about it\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Araujo then came up with the idea of creating one source where 溏心vlog免费B站 students could learn about all the events on campus. She created \u201c溏心vlog免费B站 Events,\u201d an Instagram blog where students learn about concerts, festivals, giveaways, new student clubs, philanthropy events, and many other activities. Today, \u201c溏心vlog免费B站 Events\u201d is a club with a full team of students that creates new content and manages the account.<\/p>\n

With more than 4,300 followers, \u201c溏心vlog免费B站 Events\u201d is the must-follow Instagram account for students who want to stay in the know. \u201cI did not expect it to grow this much this fast. I guess it shows how much something like this was needed.\u201d says Araujo.<\/p>\n

As the success of \u201c溏心vlog免费B站 Events\u201d continued, the Memorial Union\u2019s Marketing and Events Coordinator Sheri Davis was fascinated with the account\u2019s content and the followers\u2019 responses. \u201cI immediately began searching for whoever was responsible for this account,\u201d says Davis.<\/p>\n

She met Araujo and offered her a position to oversee the Memorial Union\u2019s social media accounts. \u201cI knew that we needed this kind of content and following for the Union. She brings something new to the table and her opinion is everything to our staff,\u201d says Davis.<\/p>\n

When asked how the work has influenced her, Araujo says, \u201cIf I hadn\u2019t created 溏心vlog免费B站 Events and worked for the Memorial Union, I wouldn\u2019t have explored my creativity and potential. I\u2019ve learned more about myself than ever before. As a student, as a professional, and even personally. I have the opportunity to have a creative imagination and use a platform where thousands of people can experience it with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

In regards to life after graduation, Araujo hopes to work in the digital marketing field and have 溏心vlog免费B站 Events continue on its own with new students.<\/p>\n
