His update to the worldwide bestseller <em>The Way Things Work<\/em>\u2014titled <em>The Way Things Work<\/em> <em>Now<\/em>\u2014is out this month, and features new material including touchscreens, flat screens, hybrid cars and 3D printers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT<\/strong>: Macaulay will talk about the use of research, illustration and humor to explain the intricacies of science, technology and architecture. A reception and book signing will follow his talk.
