The four-day conference has a number of public events that are free. (See highlights below.)&#13; &#13; 溏心vlog免费B站 Philosophers and Conference Coordinators Drs. Andre Ariew and Galen Johnson, with support from the Rhode Island Committee for the Humanities, the International Berkeley Society, Salve Regina University, Rhode Island College, and the Colonial Dames of Rhode Island have organized a program of events celebrating Berkeley\u2019s three-year stay in Rhode Island. The program will focus on Berkeley\u2019s wide-ranging contributions to philosophy, theology, economics, politics, and the arts.&#13; &#13; Although the talks are free and open to the public, there is a registration fee for participation in the banquets and receptions.&#13; &#13; The following are highlights of public events:&#13; &#13; \u2022 Thursday, April 22, 5 p.m. at Honyman Hall, Trinity Church, Raimy Leahy, owner of Berkeley\u2019s Dysart Castle, Kilkenny, Ireland will speak: \u201cOn the Excavation of Dysart Castle.\u201d&#13; &#13; \u2022 Thursday, April 22, 8 p.m. at Honyman Hall, Trinity Church, Maureen Lapan, from Rhode Island College, \u201cBerkeley in Newport\u201d and Ian Tipton (president of the International Berkeley Society) from U. of Wales, \u201cBerkeley as Thinker and as Man of Action.\u201d&#13; &#13; \u2022 Friday, April 23 at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the Trinity Church, William Hutchison will perform an historical reenactment of one of Berkeley\u2019s sermons.&#13; &#13; \u2022 Saturday, April 24 at 11:30 a.m. in Redwood Library, Cora Gibbs, will speak on the following paintings by John Smibert, Berkeley\u2019s portraits: \u2018The Bermuda Group\u2019 and \u2018Berkeley and His Family.\u2019&#13; &#13; \u2022 Saturday, April 24 at noon, Ronald Onorato of the 溏心vlog免费B站, will conduct a walking architectural tour of Newport.
