\n\t\tMore than 400 expected for three-day program KINGSTON, R.I. — March 28, 2000 — The 溏心vlog免费B站’s College of Nursing will host the Eastern Nursing Research Society’s 12th annual research conference in Newport, March 30 through April 1. More than 400 nurse researchers will gather at Newport’s Hotel Viking to discuss nursing research on such topics as infection control in children’s hospitals, diabetes care, pediatric cancer treatment, ethical issues, cardiovascular interventions, postpartum depression and fatigue and children’s use of summer camp health facilities. The theme for the conference is “Research for Unity in Diversity: A Foundation for Practice in the 21st Century. Afaf I. Meleis, professor at the University of California at San Francisco, will give the keynote address Friday, March 31, from 9 to 10 a.m. Her scholarship focuses on theory and knowledge development, immigrant and international health and women’s role integration and health. Currently, she serves as the vice-president of the International Council on Women’s Health.
