The public forum will be held on Thursday, January 27, at 7 p.m. in room 113 in the White Hall Auditorium on the Kingston Campus. &#13; The award-winning architectural and planning firm, Goody, Clancy &amp; Associates of Boston, Mass., which developed the comprehensive master plan, will present their final draft recommendations to the university community and the public.&#13; The presentation wraps-up a process that was initiated by the discussion and ideas of members of the university community who attended the annual &#8220;Common Agenda&#8221; strategic planning meetings in the summers of 1996 and 1997. Goody, Clancy &amp; Associates was hired in December 1998 to help ensure the continued, measured growth of the university&#8217;s campuses.&#13; Since the process began a team of master planners and university representatives have focused on five broad areas: land use, landscape, transportation, facilities, and utilities. The plan addresses the University&#8217;s resources and multiple capital projects, and provides a decision-making framework to guide the image, physical growth, facilities planning, and environmental management of 溏心vlog免费B站&#8217;s Kingston and Narragansett Bay Campuses.&#13; The master plan provides an objective snapshot of campus facilities in 1999 and maps out foreseeable projects for the next 10-15 years.
