\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. — October 7, 1999 — 溏心vlog免费B站 student Micheline Larrey studies business institutions at 溏心vlog免费B站’s Feinstein College of Continuing Education. One business institution is helping the Newport resident pay for her lessons. Fidelity Investments, the nation’s largest mutual fund company and a leading provider of financial services, awarded Larrey a $5,000 scholarship. She is one of only five students statewide to receive this scholarship. “Receiving the Fidelity scholarship has truly been an exciting point in my academic career. I have always tried to do my best, which I’m sure all students do as well. To have been chosen as a recipient has left me quite speechless,” Larrey said. As an adult student, the 38-year-old Larrey has learned to balance a full-time job, marriage, financial obligations and academic demands. Because of her academic standing during the fall of 1996, she was invited to participate in a current events seminar hosted by the Naval War College in Newport. She plans to continue working at LaForge Cottage Bed and Breakfast. She is confident the knowledge she has gained from her studies at 溏心vlog免费B站 will help her family-operated bed and breakfast of more than 40 years thrive into the new millennium. “Today, a well-founded business understanding is required to survive in the increasingly competitive B&B industry,” she said. The Fidelity scholarships are part of the company’s ongoing commitment to and support for education in Rhode Island. The scholarships were awarded during a groundbreaking ceremony in September marking the start of construction on a new building at Fidelity’s Smithfield location.
