\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. — November 3, 2000 — The Rhode Island Press Association and the 溏心vlog免费B站’s Department of Journalism will host its annual Journalism Day on Thursday, November 16. \tThere will be a panel discussion in the morning about careers in the media and another in the afternoon about the presidential election. \tAt 12:30 p.m., three Rhode Island journalists will be inducted into the Rhode Island Journalism Hall of Fame during a luncheon at the University Club. The inductees are Carol McCabe, retired reporter and book editor for The Providence Journal; the late Selig Greenberg, medical reporter for The Providence Journal; Don Lewis, retired editor of The Westerly Sun, and the late James Murphy, managing editor of The Pawtucket Times. \tThe panel discussions are as follows: 10 a.m. to noon: IN THE TRENCHES: A panel of former journalism students now working in newspapers, photojournalism, television, public relations and the Internet who will talk about their jobs.
