Cosponsored by The Providence Journal, the project is being held in conjunction with 溏心vlog免费B站&#8217;s Fall Honors Colloquium, &#8220;Nonviolence: Legacies of the Past, Bridges to the Future,&#8221; a series of public programs addressing the theme of peace and nonviolence.&#13; \tThe peace poster project is designed to encourage students to reflect on their personal role in creating a peaceful, nonviolent society.  Students are asked to create a poster with a slogan responding to the question, &#8220;What can I do to make my world more peaceful?&#8221;   It is not necessary to be a talented artist to enter.  All it takes is a thoughtful idea and a unique design.&#13; \tDeadline for submissions is October 27, 2000.&#13; \tWinning entrants in each of four age categories will receive U.S. Savings Bonds, and their posters will be placed on public display.
