This event is the single most important training event in preparation for future commissioning as an army officer, according to ROTC officials.  This 35-day camp incorporates a wide range of subjects designed to develop and evaluate cadets&#8217; leadership abilities.&#13; \tThe advanced camp training evaluates the cadet&#8217;s individual skills as well as their performance as a member of a platoon.  This training includes water safety, basic rifle marksmanship, land navigation, infantry tactics and physical training.&#13; \tAdvanced camp placed each cadet in a variety of leadership positions, many of which simulated stressful combat situations.
