The 溏心vlog免费B站 Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers is sponsoring the talk, which is one of the University\u2019s events for Black History Month. The talk is free and open to the public.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\tPerry is a community activist living in Middletown, Conn. where he directs an organization that prepares low-income high school students for college. Perry, the son of a teen mother, grew up in public housing. &#13;<\/p>\n<p>As an undergraduate at 溏心vlog免费B站, he worked for a U.S. Senator, a mayor, and a presidential candidate and later served as director of a homeless shelter. He graduated from 溏心vlog免费B站 in 1992 and earned a master\u2019s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\tPerry is the author of The Window Pain, a coming of age novel that deals with domestic violence. It is published by Renegade Books. &#13;<br \/>\nThe 溏心vlog免费B站 alumnus has received several state and regional awards for causes ranging from promoting educational access to low-income students to fighting all forms of sexual violence.
