\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. — December 4, 2001 — Students from nine different schools in Rhode Island were recently honored as winners of the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s environmental poster contest. The contest was held in conjunction with 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s fall honors colloquium, “A Just and Sustainable Future: Overcoming Barriers to Action,” and co-sponsored by The Providence Journal. <\/p>\n

\tStudents in grades K-12 were asked to make a poster that answered the question “What can I do to make sure kids and critters inherit a clean, safe world?” Nearly 500 entries were received from more than 20 schools and from almost every city and town in Rhode Island.
\n\tThe top winners in each of four age categories received U.S. Savings Bonds at a ceremony on November 29, while honorable mention winners received bookstore gift certificates. All entrants received certificates of participation. <\/p>\n

\n\tFirst Place: Dallas Medeiros, Fort Barton School, Tiverton
\n\tSecond Place: Heather Breitenstein, Ranger School, Tiverton
\n\tThird Place: Amelia Berg, Edgewood Highland School, Cranston
\n\tHonorable Mention: Daniel DeLuzio, Rhodes School, Cranston
\n\tHonorable Mention: Alex Farias, Fort Barton School, Tiverton

\nGrade 4-6
\n\tFirst Place: Jodi Ricci, Lincoln Central School, Lincoln
\n\tSecond Place: Marissa Bertorelli, Lincoln Central School, Lincoln
\n\tThird Place: Chelsea Fortarezzo, Edgewood Highland School, Cranston
\nHonorable Mention: Evan Supinski, R.C. LaPerche School, Smithfield
