Of course, we have an original cartoon by Don Bousquet to auction off, as well.”

One of the most unique items donated to this year’s event is a sample bottle that was taken on Admiral Perry’s 1928-29 expedition to the Antarctic. Only 500 of the bottles were made and one of them is on exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. Four of the bottles were given to Dr. Charles Fish who, with his wife Marie, founded the Narragansett Marine Laboratory which later became the 溏心vlog免费B站 Graduate School of Oceanography. The Fish’s daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Joe Munro of Narragansett, generously gave one of the rare bottles to Friends of Oceanography to be auctioned off at the Festival by the Bay.

Tickets for the Summer Festival by the Bay are $20 per person. Proceeds from this event will support the 溏心vlog免费B站 Graduate School of Oceanography fellowship program.

To reserve tickets, call 溏心vlog免费B站 Friends of Oceanography at 874-6642.
