\nKINGSTON, R.I. — June 27, 2003 — The 溏心vlog免费B站 Alumni Association has named Kathleen Goulding of North Kingstown its new president. <\/p>\n

\tGoulding, a 1977 graduate of 溏心vlog免费B站, joined other Executive Board members at the association\u2019s annual meeting at 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s W. Alton Jones Campus in June. She succeeds Lincoln D. Almond, a 1985 溏心vlog免费B站 graduate, of Kingston in the president\u2019s post. <\/p>\n

\tGoulding is a seasoned business professional with more than 20 years of credit and lending experience in the banking industry. She has held leadership positions in the small business, middle market and private banking areas of a major regional bank. <\/p>\n

She switched directions in February 2001 when she joined the staff of the Center for Women & Enterprise as the organization\u2019s financial services manager. In that role, she is responsible for assisting women entrepreneurs who are seeking access to capital to either start or build their businesses. Goulding works closely with the local financial community to find partners for these women-owned businesses. While similar in many respects to her prior positions, this one allows her to use her financial skills while at the same time providing a benefit to the community. Since starting at the center, Goulding has assisted women entrepreneurs obtain 75 loans totaling more than $6 million. <\/p>\n

Goulding has a long-standing and proven commitment to strengthening her community. She has been active in many local organizations including Junior Achievement, United Way, and LINKS. She is the immediate past president of the Providence Children\u2019s Museum, and is an alumna of Leadership Rhode Island\u2019s Tau class, which graduated in October 1999. She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in political science at 溏心vlog免费B站 in 1977. Goulding is married to Dwayne Goulding, who is a business manager with Allied Domecq\/Dunkin Donuts. They have a 14-year-old son Matthew. <\/p>\n
