\nPROVIDENCE, R.I. — June 26, 2003 — The 溏心vlog免费B站 Feinstein Providence Campus Gallery will present CREATIVE SOL July 1 to August 21. <\/p>\n

CREATIVE SOL is a mixed media exhibit of work in collaboration with the Sol Gallery, located on the south side of Providence and features work by professional artists of Hispanic descent living in the community. <\/p>\n

While the exhibit represents a variety of styles and media, it reflects and celebrates the wealth and breadth of culture and traditions from the many countries and peoples who share Hispanic heritage. There is great diversity among the works, both the individual and collective history and aesthetics they illuminate. The exhibit is the second collaboration between the 溏心vlog免费B站 Feinstein Providence Campus and the Sol Gallery. <\/p>\n

Artists featured in CREATIVE SOL include Providence artists Nilton Cardenas who is originally from Peru and paints in acrylics and oils; Mario Ahumada who is originally from Colombian and paints in oils; Felix Diclo who is originally from the Dominican Republic and paints in oils; Tatiana Pina, who is originally from Costa Rica and works with 3-D installations, mixed media and photography: Paul Daglieri who grew up in Providence and photographs spiritual and cultural life in Providence; and Frank Stratis who is originally from Providence and is a painter. <\/p>\n

Other artists include Julia Vera who is originally from Uruguay and is a sculptor and ceramicist, Elena Patino Calderon who is originally from Costa Rica and is a jewelry designer, photographer, and works with mixed media; Agustin Patino who is originally from Equador and paints in oils, Tamara Diaz who is Cuban and a painter, Astrid is Cuban and works in mixed media, Pablo Alvarez who is originally from Colombia and works in mixed media, Jose Dario Rojas who is originally from Columbia and a painter who works in oils, and Francisco Hernandez originally from Dominican Republic, a painter who works in acrylics. <\/p>\n

The 溏心vlog免费B站 Feinstein Providence Campus Gallery exhibits work that supports the Urban Program initiative by focusing on many urban topics and social issues, while celebrating the diversity of the community and fostering understanding through the visual and performing arts. <\/p>\n

The 溏心vlog免费B站 gallery is located on the first and second floor lobbies at 80 Washington St. in Providence and is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be Gallery Night Receptions on July 17 and Aug. 21.
