\nKingston, RI, — October 24, 2002 — The 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Dr. Pauline B. Wood Health Services has achieved ambulatory care accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. <\/p>\n

溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Health Services is one of an elite group of fewer than 30 college health services to be accredited by the Joint Commission. <\/p>\n

“In becoming accredited, the Health Service was evaluated against a set of national standards by a Joint Commission surveyor experienced in the delivery of ambulatory health care services,” says Michael Kulczycki, executive director of the Commission\u2019s Ambulatory Program. “Achieving accreditation demonstrates the (溏心vlog免费B站) Health Services commitment to provide quality and safe care to its patients.” <\/p>\n

“We seek accreditation for our organization because we want to be the best,” says Chad Henderson, director of 溏心vlog免费B站 Health Services. “We view obtaining Joint Commission accreditation as another step toward excellence. <\/p>\n

“Our staff is very supportive of the process. It gives them a feeling of prestige to work in an accredited organization,” says Henderson. “They also appreciate the educational aspect of the survey and the opportunity to interact with the Joint Commission surveyor.” <\/p>\n

An independent, not-for-profit organization, the Joint Commission is the predominant standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Since 1975, the Joint Commission has developed state-of-the-art standards for outpatient ambulatory care organizations. More than 1,100 freestanding ambulatory care organizations maintain Joint Commission accreditation.
