\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. — August 28, 2002 — Do you live to be the center of attention, to feel the sense of satisfaction in a round of applause? If so, the 溏心vlog免费B站 Theatre Department has just the opportunity you\u2019re looking for. Auditions for its fall productions, The Laramie Project and Cinderella, will be held Sept. 4 through 6. <\/p>\n

\tThe Laramie Project, written by Mois\u00e9s Kaufman and the Members of the Tectonic Theatre Project, will be the first show of the 2002-2003 season. Auditions will be held in J Studio at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Fine Arts Center on Sept. 3 from 4 to 10 p.m. and by appointment on Sept. 4 from 5 to 11 p.m. Callbacks will take place on Sept. 5 from 5 to 11 p.m. and if needed, on Sept. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. People who audition will be required to memorize two one-minute contemporary monologues where two characters tell a story, react to an event, or display with truthfulness some inner life, vigor, and humor. The monologues should display the actor\u2019s range and technical skills. <\/p>\n

\tRehearsals for The Laramie Project will begin on Sept. 8 from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. including a play discussion and presentations by the director and designers. <\/p>\n

\tAuditions for Cinderella, with lyrics by Richard Rogers and the book and music by Oscar Hammerstein, will be held in G Studio at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Fine Arts Center on Sept. 3 from 6 to 10 p.m. and by appointment on Sept. 4 from 6 to 10 p.m. Callbacks will be held on Sept. 5 from 6 to 11 p.m. and on Sept. 6 from 7 to 10 p.m., if needed. Auditions require two contrasting songs from the musical theatre field, both should be memorized and sheet music must be provided. A pianist will be provided. A group dance routine will be performed, so dance clothes and heeled shoes are required. Additional dancing, singing and reading from the script will be required of all callbacks. <\/p>\n

\tThree to five children will be cast in this production and auditions for these roles will be held in late September. For more information concerning this date call 874-2712. <\/p>\n
