Russell, author, speaker, and seminar leader, will share her own uniquely intersecting knowledge of gay marriage, in a candid and witty style at the 溏心vlog免费B站. Her talk, \u201cGay Marriage: It\u2019s Political, Religious and Personal (No wonder it\u2019s controversial)\u201d, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. in the Galanti Lounge of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Library, 溏心vlog免费B站 Kingston Campus. The talk, free and open to the public, is sponsored by 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Women\u2019s Studies Department and the Women\u2019s Center.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Gay marriage is about everything you are not supposed to talk about in polite conversation: religious beliefs and practices, civil rights and public policy, and intimate family relationships.<\/p>\n

\nRussell, the former senior minister of First Unitarian Church of Providence, published Rev. Richelle\u2019s Pre-marital Counseling Guide for Clergy and authored Try Straight Guys for Gay Marriage op-ed for The Providence Journal. She sits on the Executive Committee of the Rhode Island Interfaith Council. She lives in Lincoln with her life partner of 15 years, Dr. Paula G.
