It begins at 7 p.m. in the Weaver Auditorium at the Coastal Institute on 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Kingston campus. The program is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tAccording to Trowbridge, most urban sites have been modified in ways that may not be immediately apparent, and some of these modifications may severely impact the success of landscape designs for such sites.  By &#8220;reading the landscape&#8221; using ground-penetrating radar and other tools, designers can identify subterranean features and other concerns that may affect the landscape design and selection of plant species.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tOver the last decade, Trowbridge has developed a unique set of strategies to establish planting in difficult urban and severely disturbed sites.  The result of using these strategies in practice has been projects that demonstrate greater plant survival and subsequently greater overall success.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tTrowbridge is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects.  At Cornell, he teaches classes that engage students in plant identification, planting design and construction technology, as well as graduate and undergraduate studio courses that focus on landscape rehabilitation and ecology.
