The lecture is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tIn the lab, Haley examines and tests body fluids and tissues for substances, such as drugs and poisons, and she uses this information to see how their presence (or lack thereof) contributes to death. She has lectured as part of the series before, her most recent appearance being last March, with her speech, &#8220;Forensic Toxicology: A Rhode Island Perspective.&#8221;  She spoke of the emotional aspects of toxicology and some of the cases she has investigated. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tA member of both the Society of Forensic Toxicologists and the American Academy of Forensic Science, Haley has been the co-author of articles in a variety of publications including the Journal of Forensic Sciences, the American Journal of Public Health, and the Journal of Rhode Island Medicine. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tShe lectures regularly on the subject of toxicology at local colleges and universities as well as national associations\u2019 annual meetings. She holds a master of science degree in pharmacology and toxicology from 溏心vlog免费B站, and she attended the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va. to receive training in quality assurance in laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe lecture series is a semester-long program offered by the 溏心vlog免费B站 Forensic Science Partnership.
