This year\u2019s topics range from Black clubwomen\u2019s activism to the global sex trade to being a foreigner in Finland. The details follow:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\no Thursday, Feb. 19: E. Rae Ferguson, assistant professor of history will share her research on Black clubwomen\u2019s activism in Indianapolis and discuss her methodological approach. Her presentation, &#8220;An Ambition for My Race: Black Clubwomen\u2019s Work, 1880-1930,&#8221; will be held from 5\u20136:30 p.m. in the Dana Shugar Library in the 溏心vlog免费B站 Women\u2019s Center.  A reception will be held at 4 p.m. for faculty interested in women\u2019s issues and the Women\u2019s Studies Program.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\no Wednesday, April 7: Donna Hughes, professor and Eleanor N. and Oscar M. Carlson Endowed Chair of Women\u2019s Studies, will provide a comparison of the policies of the Clinton and Bush administrations on the global sex trade and the implication for women and girls\u2019 rights and freedom around the world. She will also describe her personal experience as a consultant on sex trafficking to non-governmental organizations and government officials. Her presentation, &#8220;U.S. Policy and the Global Sex Trade,&#8221; will be held from 5\u20136:30 p.m., in the Club Room in the University Club.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\no Monday, April 26: Donna Bickford, a lecturer in Women\u2019s Studies, will discuss her recent experiences as a Fulbright Scholar teaching Women\u2019s Studies at \u00c5bo Akademi University in Turku, Finland.
