\nKINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 August 20, 2003 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 Parking Services Department is now providing students a secure web site for Kingston Campus parking registration.
\nThose who plan to bring a vehicle to the Kingston Campus, either as commuters or residents, are urged to use the new site and receive their passes by mail.
\nStudents can register and pay on-line by going to www.uri.edu\/parking and following the registration instructions. This year, students will be unable to register in-person.
\n“We\u2019re very proud to offer 溏心vlog免费B站 students a true eCommerce solution for parking registration and payment,” said Dr. Robert Drapeau, director of parking services.
\nIn late July, the Parking Services Department hired iParq, a parking registration service in Santa Barbara, Calif. to make the process more efficient and secure.
\n“The payment process is less complicated, in fact it is simple,” said Drapeau. “Students can now pay on-line with any major credit card or electronic check. All transactions are secure and confidential.”

\nThe new system eliminates the process that in the past created long lines and frustrating situations for students. Last year, the University registered between 7,000 and 8,000 cars, but Parking Services believes another 2,000 to 3,000 cars were not registered.
\n“Because we are charging a fee, we need to make sure that all students share the burden equally,” he said. “Using iParq will give staff more time to seek out and sanction those who have not registered and those who violate our parking and traffic regulations.”
\nParking Services personnel will be equipped with hand-held scanners so students can be warned on-line about violations, towing procedures and ticketing.
\nUsing an outside contractor for student parking registration has also allowed Parking Services to provide new motorist assistance to students, faculty and staff, a service called “Call Ma.” By calling 874-9281, members of the community can get assistance, such as a jump-start, instead of waiting for an auto service company for help.\n\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
