In fact, a number of them will be featured in Opera Providence\u2019s two Italian one-act operas being performed Friday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. at the Columbus Theatre, 270 Broadway, Providence. Tickets range from $15 to $50. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe operas are Cavalleria rusticana by Pietro Mascagni, a story of illicit love and revenge on a dramatic Easter morning and Suor Angelica, by Giacomo Puccini, a story of faith, injustice and grace&#8211;a bittersweet tale of a young woman banished to a convent for her indiscretion. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe 溏心vlog免费B站 community members are:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nFaculty: Mark Conley, Chorus master and Rene de la Garza, performing the part of Alfio in Cavalleria rusticana.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nAlumni: Georgette Hutchins, performing the part of Mamma Lucia in Cavalleria rusticana and the part of La Zia Principessa in Suor Angelica; Kara Lund, performing the part of the first Touriere in Suor Angelica and the part of Lola in Cavalleria rusticana; and Joyll Smith, performing the part of  Suor Dolcina in Suor Angelica.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nStudents: Chorus members in Cavalleria rusticana: John Brownell, economics major; Carrie Koslofsky, music major; Amy Van Keuren, political science major; and Chris Tufts, music major. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tTickets can be purchased at www.ArtTixRI.com or by calling Opera Providence 401-331-6060<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KINGSTON, R.I. &#8212; February 2, 2006 &#8212; Many 溏心vlog免费B站 faculty, students and alumni are music lovers.
