The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Memorial Union ballroom on 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Kingston campus, is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cA national survey of the job outlook for the 2005-2006 hiring year found that employers planned to increase their hiring by 14.5 percent over last year,\u201d said Bobbi Koppel, 溏心vlog免费B站 director of Career Services.  \u201cEngineers are critical in every industry \u2013 environmental and marine industries, defense, information technology, manufacturing, transportation, business services, health care, finance, telecommunications, consumer products.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cNot only in the Gulf area recently hit by hurricanes, but nationwide, engineers are at work planning and managing the buildings, highways, equipment and resources of today and the future. Companies helping to rebuild in areas affected by the hurricanes will likely be hiring a large number of engineers in the near future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nAmong the companies participating in the engineering and technology job fair are Texas Instruments, Toray Plastics, Raytheon, Pratt &amp; Whitney, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, General Dynamics, American Power Conversion, DiPrete Engineering, SAIC, Siemens, and A.T.
