As the title implies, the fair is three events in one. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a job and internship fair along with a graduate school expo. In addition, Pharmacy Interview Day will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those to be interviewed will have already been selected and so that part of the event is closed to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe fall event follows the \u201cPassport to Employment\u201d fairs run during the spring of the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u201cAll of our employers at those two fairs told us how much they like that format,\u201d said Bobbi Koppel, director of 溏心vlog免费B站 Career Services. \u201cThey love the Ryan Center and the great attendance we get from job-seekers. They have told us how well prepared the students are. The employers have been asking for a major fall event for a few years. Our students and other visitors to the fairs also were very happy with the number and variety of employers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tKoppel said the fair leads off Parents Weekend at 溏心vlog免费B站. \u201cParents can come with their students to see what we offer at a career fair and the variety of services that we provide for their children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tCarolyn Thomas, assistant director of career services, said the staff decided to combine a job and graduate school fair. \u201cFor the students who are unsure about applying to graduate school or beginning the job search, this fair offers one-stop shopping. They can investigate grad schools while checking out employment opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tOther fall semester Career Services events are:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u2022 On-Campus Student Employment Job Fair, Thursday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Memorial Union Ballroom;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u2022 BEACON Beach Party, Wednesday, Sept. 14, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Quadrangle, to inform students of the variety of programs offered by Career Services;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u2022 Engineering and Technology Job Fair, Wednesday, Oct. 12, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Memorial Union Ballroom;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u2022 Parachute College Program, Oct. 17 and 18, in front of the Memorial Union. Working with Richard N. Bolles\u2019 What Color is Your Parachute? and created by college students and recent graduates, it is provided at no cost to participating schools and to full-time students. For the two days, the Parachute Express, a full-size tour bus offers programs on managing finances and time and conducting a successful job search.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u2022 Nursing Job Fair, Friday, Nov. 18, College of Nursing, White Hall, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u2022 On-campus company interviews, daily from Monday Oct. 17 through Friday, Nov. 18.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThomas said the BEACON Beach Party is designed to get students registered on the BEACON website. \u201cIf they register, they will be able to complete career assessments and participate in one-on-one career counseling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe site also allows students to participate in an essay contest that will be run during 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Diversity Week.
