\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I — June 28, 2005 — Expert gardeners trained through the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Master Gardener program will open their gardens to the public for the second \u201cGardening with the Masters\u201d tour on July 16 and 17.<\/p>\n


\nSponsored by the 溏心vlog免费B站 Master Gardener Association, the 31 private gardens scattered around the state and five public gardens will be open rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. Master Gardeners will serve as guides at each site, and educational materials related to each garden\u2019s features will be available.<\/p>\n


\n\u201cThis is a great opportunity to see many, many beautiful gardens designed and tended by expert gardeners, and to get some ideas and advice for your own garden,\u201d said Earl Perkins, a 溏心vlog免费B站 Master Gardener from Wakefield who is organizing the event with his wife Ann. \u201cMost Rhode Islanders will find at least a couple of gardens on the tour that are just a few miles from their home.\u201d<\/p>\n


\nNine of the garden sites open for tours are in Providence County, while three are in Kent County, eight in Newport County, two in Bristol County, and 14 in Washington County. \nGuidebooks, which serve as admittance tickets and provide directions to each garden, must be purchased in advance for $18. The guidebooks are available through the 溏心vlog免费B站 Master Gardener website at www.urimga.org, or at Lincoln Gardens, Lincoln; Schartner Farms, Exeter; Little Tree Farm & Gardens, North Kingstown; Chaves Gardens, Middletown; and at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Cooperative Extension Education Center, Kingston.<\/p>\n
