\n\t\tRIVA AND FRIENDS: ALIVE AND WELL exhibit May 1-27<\/p>\n


\n\tPROVIDENCE, R.I. \u2013 April 21, 2005 \u2013 In recognition of Mental Health and Wellness Month in May, the 溏心vlog免费B站 Feinstein Providence Campus will present a month-long exhibit that explores works by local artists and the use of art in the healing process. <\/p>\n


\n\tEntitled “Riva and Friends: Alive and Well,” the exhibit will deal most directly with Alzeheimer\u2019s disease, bi-polar disorder, and depression. The show runs May 1-27, with a performance of music and poetry on Gallery Night, May 19 from 5 – 9 p.m.<\/p>\n


\n\tThe exhibit will feature the life work of renowned artist Riva Leviten of Providence who has worked in the field of art as healing, and who has suffered a variety of health issues including most recently a stroke and the onset of Alzheimer\u2019s Disease.<\/p>\n


\n\tThe work of other local artists in the field of art as healing and artists who have dealt with their own life issues through their art will also be shown. These artists include: Christiane Corbat of Barrington, Bill Comeau of Cranston, Sandra Salzillo-Shields of Bristol and Vince Grimaldi of Providence.<\/p>\n


\n\tFree and open to the public, the gallery is located in the first and second floor lobbies of the campus at 80 Washington St. Hours are: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., closed Sunday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
