So the R.I. Department of Health requires food booth operators and staff to be trained in food safety for both health and liability reasons. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThat\u2019s why the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Cooperative Extension, the Rhode Island Hospitality &amp; Tourism Association and the Department of Health are offering a food safety education workshop on Saturday, April 2 to address these issues.  The \u201cEssential Festival Sanitation Basics\u201d class runs from 8 a.m. to noon at the Rhode Island Hospitality &amp; Tourism Association offices, 832 Dyer Ave., Cranston.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cThe state requires that all vendors who participate at special events like fairs and festivals adhere to proper food sanitation laws,\u201d said Patnoad.  \u201cFood inspectors are on duty to enforce the law at these events.  So this course will provide the basic information to help vendors avoid issues that might arise the day of the event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe workshop is designed for event planners, food preparers, municipal event coordinators, fraternal organizations, and anyone who handles food at a special event.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe workshop will address cooking and holding requirements, tips for maintaining proper temperature, food transport, outdoor food handling, proper sanitation techniques, documentation and liability issues, and more.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe workshop fee is $69.  Space is limited.
