{"id":68455,"date":"2005-02-21T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2005-02-21T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news-draft\/uncategorized\/uris-landscape-architecture-lecture-series-presents\/"},"modified":"2005-02-21T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2005-02-21T00:00:00","slug":"uris-landscape-architecture-lecture-series-presents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/2005\/02\/uris-landscape-architecture-lecture-series-presents\/","title":{"rendered":"溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Landscape Architecture lecture series presents"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"press-release-import\">\n\t\t\u201cPlaygrounds and the Central Artery: What do they have in common?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nKINGSTON, R.I &#8212; February 21, 2005 &#8212; John Copley and Lynn Wolff, principals of the Copley-Wolff Design Group in Boston, will give a lecture titled \u201cPlaygrounds and the Central Artery: What do they have in common?\u201d on March 3 at 7 p.m.  The talk, which is free and open to the public, is part of the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Community Planning and Landscape Architecture lecture series and will be held in Weaver Auditorium at the Coastal Institute on the Kingston campus.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nCopley-Wolff Design Group is a landscape architecture and planning studio that has designed such projects as the Landmark Fountain of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, the Central Artery\/Tunnel surface restoration through downtown Boston, and Science Park at the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, VT.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nCopley has nearly 30 years of experience as a landscape architect working on streetscapes, urban designs and cultural landscape projects throughout New England.  He has lectured at Harvard University, the Boston Architectural Center and New England School of Art and Design.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nWolff has more then 20 years of experience working on complex urban projects on which she has demonstrated considerable skills in managing multi-disciplinary teams, numerous clients, significant historic and cultural resources, and a public participatory process.   Her work has been recognized for excellence by the Boston Society of Landscape Architects.  She has lectured previously at 溏心vlog免费B站, as well as at Cornell, Harvard and the University of Massachusetts.
