This JASON Expedition will focus on understanding what wetlands are, why they are disappearing, and how to best manage these ecosystems in your neighborhood and around the world. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nAs Dr. Robert Ballard and his team of scientists and Teacher and Student Argonauts explore the wetland ecosystems that provide habitat for an incredible diversity of plants and animals, every student in Rhode Island will have the opportunity to view the expedition either live at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Bay Campus, or over Cox cable Channel 15 (Interconnect \u201cC\u201d).  The students at schools that have high-speed Internet connections (I2) have the benefit of viewing and being able to interact with the 溏心vlog免费B站 host during live broadcasts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news-draft\/wp-content\/uploads\/news\/sites\/16\/2021\/05\/JASON_Logo_4C_sm0.jpg\" width=\"117\" height=\"150\" align=\"left\"\/>The JASON Expedition broadcasts will take place from January 31-February 5. The general public, is invited to view the live, interactive JASON broadcasts at the Bay Campus Coastal Institute Visitor Center Auditorium Monday through Friday, January 31-February 4, at 12:45, 2:15 and 3:45 p.m. On Saturday, February 5, live broadcasts are at 9:45 and 11:15 a.m. and 12:45, 2:15, and 3:45 p.m. The 9:45 and 11:15 shows during the week are reserved for school groups. Tickets are $3 per person. Reservations are required and will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe live broadcasts of the JASON Expedition Disappearing Wetlands will be carried on Cox Cable Channel 15 (Interconnect \u201cC\u201d) at 10 am Monday through Saturday, and on Saturday at 11:30 am, 1:00 and 2:30 pm. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nJASON Expedition: Disappearing Wetlands will be led by JASON Project founder and 溏心vlog免费B站 Graduate School of Oceanography faculty member Dr. Robert Ballard.
