\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. — January 19, 2005 — The 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s English Department will continue its READ\/WRITE Reading Series and Faculty Colloquium Series throughout the remaining winter months and into spring. Both series are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n


\nThe READ\/WRITE Reading Series features poets, fiction and nonfiction writers from 溏心vlog免费B站 and beyond. In addition to showcasing literary talent among the university’s instructors, the series also brings emerging and established writers to campus, thereby enriching the creative resources available to students and the community at large. <\/p>\n


\nAll events are scheduled for Tuesday or Thursday afternoons at 4 in the Hoffmann Room, Independence Hall, Upper College Road, Kingston Campus. For more information, call 874-4678.<\/p>\n


\nTimothy Watt and Bob Leuci will open the series by reading from their nonfiction on Tuesday, Jan. 25. Watt is the author of Portage, the first step in an ongoing autobiographical work. His short fiction has appeared in The Mississippi Review and 3rd Bed. <\/p>\n


\nLeuci was a New York City police detective for 20 years, working in the areas of organized crime and narcotics, before he began writing and lecturing. The book and then the film, Prince Of The City, depicted part of his police career. He is the author of six novels, one memoir, a number of short stories, a television play for the Arts and Entertainment Channel, and a radio play for German radio. He has also adapted several of his novels into screenplays. <\/p>\n
