Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship offers qualified graduate students the chance to spend a year in Washington, D.C., working in Congress or the executive branch on critical marine policy and resource management issues. Approximately 30 individuals are selected nationally. The Knauss Fellowship provides a stipend and living expense allowance totaling $40,000. The one-year fellowship begins February 1, 2006. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nEach year, Rhode Island Sea Grant nominates up to five students to the National Sea Grant College Program for Knauss Fellowships. Nominees must be studying for a master&#8217;s, doctoral, or professional degree in a marine-related field. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nFellowship applications are due at Rhode Island Sea Grant on Tuesday, February 15, 2005.
