{"id":67959,"date":"2007-03-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-03-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news-draft\/uncategorized\/uri-student-skate-night-march-27\/"},"modified":"2007-03-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2007-03-15T00:00:00","slug":"uri-student-skate-night-march-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/2007\/03\/uri-student-skate-night-march-27\/","title":{"rendered":"溏心vlog免费B站 student skate night, March 27"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"press-release-import\">\n\t\t溏心vlog免费B站 Police, Boss Arena to host icebreaker<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nKINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 March 15, 2007 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 Police Department and the Boss Arena will host a student skate night March 27 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Students can skate for free. 溏心vlog免费B站 Dining Services and Ronzio\u2019s pizza will provide the refreshments.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nAt the event, the lights will be turned down low while music fills the Boss Arena. \u201cLaughs, greetings and conversation fill the hallway voids as students form the line,\u201d explained Officer Mark Chearino, co-creator of student skate night. \u201cThe event brings students together to socialize and have fun in an alcohol-free environment and allows officers and students to be in a more casual interactive atmosphere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe event also provides an opportunity to advertise the men\u2019s and women\u2019s club hockey teams. \u201cWe are attempting to encourage students to come out and see the teams play,\u201d Chearino said. \u201cWe want to show the students that the Boss Arena is on campus and here for them to enjoy.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nChearino and Joe Berardi, manager of the Boss Arena, came up with the idea for student skate night last year with the promise \u201cif you get them here, we\u2019ll get them skating.\u201d With support from Fran Cohen, assistant vice-president of student affairs and dean of students, the first student skate night welcomed an impressive 350 students. The number of students rose to 540 at a second skate night,.
