R.I. \u2013 January 25, 2007 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 Landscape Architecture lecture series kicks off its spring presentations with a talk by Doug Reed, founder and principal of Reed Hilderbrand Associates. Reed\u2019s talk, entitled \u201cFinding the Particular,\u201d will be held on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in Weaver Auditorium at the Coastal Institute on 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Kingston campus. It is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tReed is a graduate of Louisiana State University and the Harvard Design School. He has taught at the University of Virginia and Louisiana State University and was a principal of Child Associates, Inc. before founding his firm in 1993. He has lectured at many colleges including Villanova University and Harvard University. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tReed will discuss how his firm identifies the unique qualities of a site as a basis of expressive form and will focus on the detail resolution of ideas for several projects. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe remainder of the spring lecture schedule follows. All begin at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#8211; March 8, Terry DeWan, principal of Terrance DeWan &amp; Associates, on \u201cWind Power\/Flower Power: Commonalities\/Opportunities;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t &#8211; April 5, Warren Byrd, principal of Nelson Byrd Woltz, on \u201cDesign and Sustainability: Are They Mutually Exclusive,\u201d and<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#8211; April 19, Meg Calkins, associate professor at Ball State University, on \u201cWhat Makes Sustainable?\u201d<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe 溏心vlog免费B站 Landscape Architecture series is co-sponsored by the College of the Environment and Life Sciences, the Rhode Island chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association.
