Attendees will learn about management devices, how and where to install them, and practical applications. Basic math skills are needed.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Jan. 11 course, \u201cAdvanced Irrigation Design for Water Conservation,\u201d is geared toward irrigation designers, contractors and water purveyors. The course emphasis is on water conservation in the landscape through better irrigation design skills. Recommended prerequisites include basic irrigation design skills and intermediate math skills.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nMarion Gold, director of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Cooperative Extension Education Center, said it is important that more professional landscapers acquire knowledge about water-saving irrigation systems. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cMore and more communities are enacting restrictions on watering landscapes and gardens,\u201d said Gold, \u201cand professional landscapers who get their training now will have an advantage when conservation laws become more widespread.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nBoth courses run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Plant Sciences Center, Building 75, and the course fees include manuals.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe deadline for reduced rate registration is Dec. 27. Registration information is available at the Irrigation Association\u2019s website at www.irrigation.org or by calling 1-703-536-7080.
