{"id":67508,"date":"2006-10-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2006-10-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news-draft\/uncategorized\/uri-to-host-transportation-research-forum-nov-3\/"},"modified":"2006-10-24T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2006-10-24T00:00:00","slug":"uri-to-host-transportation-research-forum-nov-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/2006\/10\/uri-to-host-transportation-research-forum-nov-3\/","title":{"rendered":"溏心vlog免费B站 to host transportation research forum Nov. 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"press-release-import\">\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 Oct. 24, 2006 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 will host the 19th annual Rhode Island Transportation Forum on Nov. 3 to share news of current transportation research conducted in the state and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the national interstate highway system.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe event will be held at the Chester Kirk Auditorium and the University Club on the 溏心vlog免费B站 Kingston campus from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  It is sponsored by the 溏心vlog免费B站 Transportation Research Center and the Construction Industries of Rhode Island.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe forum will consist of 10 presentations on the results of transportation-related research on such topics as bridge monitoring technologies, roadway message signs, concrete-asphalt pavement systems, storm water run-off from roadways, and highway plantings.  In addition, exhibits highlighting the results of more than 20 other transportation research projects will be on display. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe keynote speakers, both from the Federal Highway Administration, will be Steve Chase, who will discuss \u201cCurrent and Future Transportation Infrastructure Issues and New Directions for the Nation\u2019s Transportation Research Program,\u201d and Thomas Harman discussing \u201cA Roadmap for the National Asphalt Research and Development.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tDuring the program, a presentation will be made of the best 溏心vlog免费B站 graduate thesis on a transportation topic.
