During her visit to the Kingston campus, Swift, who began writing songs at nine and performing them  at 10, will discuss how music can fuel social change.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tShe has traveled Canada and the United States since 1997, spreading her social views and innovative folk-rock music.  She has formed her own band and established an independent record label, Few\u2019ll Ignite Sound.  She has begun to collaborate with U.S. record companies to manage her music career.
