International Horror Film Festival, Oct. 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"press-release-import\">\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 October 4, 2006 \u2013 Two students from the 溏心vlog免费B站 will have their film shown at the R.I. International Horror Film Festival on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Columbus Theatre in Providence.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tBreezehaven is a film about five friends renting a house on Block Island inhabited by a psychotic killer.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe film was created two summers ago by director Patrick Bosworth, a theatre double major in acting\/directing, actor Jamie DuFault, a journalism and film double major with a theatre minor, and several of their friends. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nBosworth and DuFault, both from Narragansett, shot most of the footage during a one-week period on Block Island.  Bosworth and DuFault edited the film in their spare time over a year and a half, completing the film in time for the 溏心vlog免费B站 Film Festival Visualiztions last spring, where it won first place in the open category.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cThe film was more of a learning experience for us.  We didn\u2019t really expect to be picked up by any festivals,\u201d Bosworth said, \u201cWe learned a great deal about the entire process of making a film from footage to editing and sound.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe film was chosen for the Rhode Island International Film Festival, which took place in August.  A representative from the R.I. International Horror Film Festival was at that event and asked the 溏心vlog免费B站 students to show their film at his event as well.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u201cIt started out as just a bunch of friends having a good time on Block Island,\u201d DuFault said, \u201cThis was our first crack at making a movie.  There was no budget involved, and everything you see, we did ourselves.  Both of us were really surprised at how it came out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe two students found it a privilege to be chosen for the R.I. International Horror Film Festival.  \u201cIt\u2019s great to let people see your film and to meet people in the industry,\u201d DuFault said, \u201cWe\u2019re really excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 October 4, 2006 \u2013 Two students from the 溏心vlog免费B站 will have their film shown at the R.I.
