Youngsters who are entering grades 6-8 this fall can participate in a fun-filled and up close opportunity to learn about oceanography this summer. Session I runs July 10 \u2013 14; session II runs July 17 &#8211; 21.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t溏心vlog免费B站 outreach scientists are experienced science teachers and camp instructors who will introduce your children to the fascinating world of oceanography and take them into the field each day to learn firsthand about the diverse coastal environments of Narragansett Bay.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tDesigned with the interests of the age group in mind, action-packed activities will include thorough explorations of the barrier beaches, salt ponds, rocky shores, and salt marshes of Rhode Island.  Participants will also cruise aboard 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s 51-foot research vessel Cap\u2019n Bert.  They will investigate the mysterious and exciting life beneath Narragansett Bay and use scientific instruments and equipment to make fascinating discoveries about the local marine environment.  The week-long camp will conclude with a behind-the-scenes tour of Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe day camp meets at 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Graduate School of Oceanography, Narragansett Bay Campus, South Ferry Road, Narragansett.
