The program, which runs from 10 a.m. to noon at a residential property in Warwick, is open to the public for a fee of $10.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe workshop leader is Reinhard Sidor, a 溏心vlog免费B站 Master Gardener, who said that gardeners who begin to compost leaves and other plant material in April will have usable compost by June.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tAccording to Sidor, composting saves gardeners the cost of purchasing mulch, reduces the need for fertilizer, improves soil quality, increases plant vitality, and reduces the quantity of materials that are sent to the landfill.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tDuring the workshop, Sidor will demonstrate and discuss the principles of composting, including the various methods of processing compost, the use of lawn mowers and rototillers to make the process easier, labor saving hints, and the use of compost in container gardens, perennials and shrubs.  Compost piles in various stage of decomposition will be on display.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tFor additional details or to register for the workshop, call the 溏心vlog免费B站 Cooperative Extension Education Center at 401-874-4453.
